About Sinclair Laird Elementary School

Sinclair Laird Elementary School in Parc Extension, is a bilingual school that reflects the multi-cultural flavour of its neighbourhood, providing to all of our students the opportunity to acquire important skills and knowledge to succeed co-operatively in our modern world.

Our dedicated and experienced team of teachers and support staff work collaboratively with our parents to help each child reach his or her greatest potential. Our students, teachers and parents bring with them a diverse range of abilities and cultures. We would like to enable our students to capitalize on their potential by providing enriched and differentiated programs. We aim to create in our school a bilingual literacy rich environment, and encourage parental involvement.

What programs does Sinclair Laird School offer?

Elementary Education Program

The Q.E.P. is designed as a system with three integrating elements: broad areas of learning, cross-curricular competencies and subject areas. Its structure is intended to facilitate the establishment of connections among the different educational components.

Is there Extra-Curricular Activities at Sinclair Laird Elementary ?
Extra-Curricular programs and activities are an extension to the basic school curriculum. Schools offer a different variety of educational programs and activities depending on the community, location and volunteers and funding.

Extra-Curricular Programs

Sinclair Laird School offers a number of extra-curricular programs, nutrition support and cultural enrichment activities such as fully subsidized visits to concerts and museums with educational animation and trips to scientific and historical centres.

Classes are available for students at lunch and after school thanks to community organizations and there is a Parc-École partnership with the city of Montreal to maintain playground equipment.
