Virtual Open Houses usher in new era at °µÍøÁÔÆæ
With the COVID-19 pandemic ushering in a host of changes in the education system, beginning on September 15, prospective °µÍøÁÔÆæ students and parents will experience a new first: virtual open houses.
With Royal West Academy in Montreal West kicking off °µÍøÁÔÆæ Open House season on September 15, prospective students and parents will have the opportunity to visit any °µÍøÁÔÆæ school from the comfort of their home or office.
Royal West has launched a Student-produced video that introduces some of the features of the school. This video has been posted on their website, and shared through social media outlets. Also, prospective parents can complete an online form in order to ask questions to the staff – the questions will be compiled, answered and posted online as a Q&A document. You can see the video here:
From personal appointments, booked through applications embedded in school websites, to virtual school tours and even live broadcasts with administrators and teachers streamed to social media, the °µÍøÁÔÆæ is using creative ways to ensure that this critical component of the educational journey is not lost due to COVID-19.
