Leaders on Wheels give back on 10th anniversary
On May 29, the Leaders on Wheels of the Mackay Centre School gathered to celebrate their 10th anniversary of giving back to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation (MCHF). With all of the school's students and staff present, they proudly presented a cheque in the amount of $7,069.15 to the MCHF team of Melissa Mastrogiuseppe, Alessia Di Giorgio and Marie-Claude Baribeau. This marks the largest gift they've given over the 10 years. The class makes and sells their own brownies, spice rubs and sauces, and has donated over $30,000 to the MCHF.
On behalf of the °µÍøÁÔÆæ and the committee of judges for the OSEntreprendre provincial contest, °µÍøÁÔÆæ Educational Consultant Travis Hall announced that the Leaders' project has been chosen as this year's best entrepreneurship project at the Secondary Cycle 1 level within the °µÍøÁÔÆæ. The project now goes on to be considered at the local level (all of Montreal) in the same grade level category. Congratulations, Leaders!
